Governance  News  Work for us

An opportunity for you to support the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) in its work to improve societal wellbeing through ensuring high-quality education and training in psychology.

APAC sets, maintains and assesses against standards for education and training in psychology.

The APAC Board approved (26 August 2024) the terms of reference and appointment process for the APAC Stakeholder Reference Group (SRG).

The SRG will advise the APAC Board on APAC’s work to advance health, education and social and public welfare by:

  • developing accreditation standards for higher education in psychology
  • supporting the implementation of those accreditation standards.

The APAC Chair, Adjunct Professor John Dunn, will chair the SRG and APAC Directors and the APAC CEO may attend.

The SRG will meet at least once per year and may conduct in-person or online meetings.

Please let us know if you are interested to support the processes to develop and implement psychology accreditation standards in Australia.
