The APAC Board met on 26 May 2025 in-person. The Board was updated on APAC accreditation matters from the Accreditation Assessment Committee (AAC). The Board also endorsed the five-year APAC Strategy (2024 – 2029) and related Operational Plan following approval of APAC’s funding model and fee schedules by the Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA). Other key items considered by the Board included:
- Reviewing the outputs from its Strategy Day held on 7 April 2025 focused on APAC’s role, financial sustainability and performance measurement.
- Updates on the Alignment Accreditation Standards Review project with public consultation and direct engagement with key stakeholders in progress.
- Updates on the APAC Risk Profile to reflect an increased focus on change management as new systems and platforms are being developed and implemented to drive efficiency.
The Board also agreed parameters for the upcoming APAC Board which will take place on Monday 21 July in Melbourne.
