The APAC Board met on 31 August 2026. The Board reviewed components of APAC’s business and strategy, subject to the rollout of Ahpra’s strategy, the Psychology Board of Australia’s proposed higher education reforms and the Health Professions Accreditation Collaborative Forum (HPAC Forum) 2026-2029 Strategic Plan. Other key items considered by the Board included:
- Adopting and reviewing key recommendations on recent final and draft accreditation assessments.
- Noting outcomes from the Australian Indigenous Psychology Education (AIPEP)-APAC Cultural Safety Project.
- Noting the outcomes of the Australian Psychology Placement Alliance (APPA)-APAC Placement Resources Project – Towards Good Practice Guidance Notes: Simulation-Based Activities; Logbooks; Informed consent; Direct Client Activities (DCA); Remediation; Joint Supervision.
