The Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA) is consulting on updating the competencies for general registration as a psychologist in Australia.
It is inviting practitioners, members of the community, employers and other stakeholders to give feedback on its proposal.
PsyBA has developed a guide to the review that outlines the key aspects of the consultation. It will help practitioners, higher education providers, employers, supervisors and clients understand how the proposed changes will affect them.
It is also running a webinar presented by Rachel Phillips, PsyBA Chair, to provide background and context to the proposed changes, and answer questions.
The webinar will run twice, on 14 and 16 March. PsyBA says spaces are limited, so you should register for only one webinar. Questions should be submitted at least two days beforehand.
