Request for an Accreditation Status Check

Terms of Service – Accreditation Status Check

This Terms of Service explains the scope of APAC’s Accreditation Status Check service, including what the service provides, applicable processing arrangements and refund conditions. Please read this information before submitting and paying for a request

  • What APAC is providing: APAC will search and review accreditation records for the specified program and period and, where required, engage with the relevant higher education provider to verify historical information.
  • What APAC is not providing: This service does not confirm an individual’s completion of an accredited sequence, eligibility for entry into a program of study or registration, the equivalence or status of an overseas qualification, or provide a formal confirmation letter.
  • No guaranteed result: Historical records may not always allow APAC to reach a definitive conclusion about a program’s accreditation status. The fee is for APAC to undertake the relevant search, review and associated administrative work and does not guarantee that a definitive result will be available.
  • Fees and refunds: Processing commences once APAC has received payment and all required information and documentation. Once processing has commenced, fees are non-refundable, including where APAC completes the relevant search but is unable to establish a definitive accreditation status, except where a refund or other remedy is required under Australian Consumer Law.
  • Processing timeframe: A response to the request for an Accreditation Status Check is typically provided within 5 business days. Historical records may take longer where additional research or verification with the relevant higher education provider is required. APAC will advise you where this applies to your request.
  • Australian Consumer Law: Nothing in this information excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

By proceeding with payment, you confirm that you have read and understood the Accreditation Status Check Terms of Service, including the scope of the service and refund arrangements.
