APAC recently collaborated with the Heads of Departments and Schools of Psychology Association (HODSPA) to finalise the re-design of the SSR Calculator.
The SSR has commonly been identified as a pain point by providers and the new tool is designed to address some of these challenges.
A working group was formed via HODSPA to discuss the essential data required for APAC Assessors to make informed regulatory decisions and the need to balance these requirements with the regulatory burden imposed on providers.
There were robust discussions, and some providers tested the revised SSR tool and found it to be more streamlined and user-friendly.
The new SSR Calculator is now ready for providers to use and it can be accessed here. There’s also an example template available here and an FAQs document here.

There will be further opportunities to provide us with feedback on the SSR Calculator in 2025 to ensure continuous business improvement.
